The Texas Fire Chiefs Association would like to know how much your department pays for firefighter physical exams. If your department requires physicals that meet the NFPA or IAFF/IAFC standards, please send an email to TFCA Executive Director Dr. Jim Gaston ( jgaston@texasfirechiefs.org)
stating the cost per physical exam. This data will be compiled and used in testimony provided to the Texas Commission on Fire Protection during their October 5, 2005 hearing on statewide wellness/fitness rules.
