In Case You Forgot?

September 11, 2001 did you forget?

Most of you are saying HOW COULD WE FORGET? Many in the general public have, and frankly a few more then one would expect in the Public Safety Field seem to have as well.

What do the Numbers 343 and 37 and 35 mean to you?

To me they mean the body count of a murder conspiracy and only that part with a Public Safety link.

343 Members of FDNY

37 Members of the PAPD (NY/NJ Port Authority Police Department)

35 members of the NY City PD

All 415 were MURDERED in the LINE OF DUTY others were injurtied some seioruly all IN THE LINE OF DUTY.

Here is one of the "more recent" stories to come from Ground Zero;

Ever heard of the FDNY Dream Bike?

The 1979 Honda CB750 LTD belonged to FDNY Firefighter Gerard Baptiste, FDNY badge #782 from Ladder 9, who bought the old, non-running bike just two weeks before 9-11-01. He had aimed to restore it and ride it. After his murder, in his honor and memory, firefighters along with a large group of others took about a year to make the classic motorcycle better than new. It was painted in a deep fire engine red and white color scheme, with FDNY insignia and a special tattoo-style image on the top of the fuel tank, the bike is a brightly polished and chromed rolling tribute to Baptiste and all who sacrificed on 9-11. To learn more, google "FDNY Dream Bike" or visit this web site

Now why is in the news today? We'll as Paul Harvey would say here's "the rest of the story";

In a recent E-mail sent to some fire servie based web sites the Father of Firefighter Baptiste stated the follwing ""Dear Friends: Three months ago, the NYC Medical Examiner's Office identified the remains of my Son Gerard Baptiste, FDNY. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, Sept 7, 2005 at 10 in the morning, at Saint Patrick's Cathedral. I would wish you put a note in your website, asking the victims' families and friends to accompany us by their presence in this very sad circumstance. Thank you very much, Gerard Jean Baptiste"

Now you know "the rest of the story", share this with everyone but particuly wioth anyone that has "forgotten"
