As we come to the close of yet another year and we move farther and farther from that fateful September day in 2001 where the world as we know it both from an overall standpoint and from the standpoint that we as firefighters view it we see more and more signs that some even some in emergency services are "forgetting" those events!

I personally can think of several hundred reasons why we should not forget the dead members of the FDNY, PAPD, NYPD and other agencies that lost responders that day as well as the literally thousands of family members, friends and co-workers of those Members that suffered these Line of Duty Murders!

In surfing the web one day a few weeks ago I discovered this website that has memorized some of the sights that were all too familiar in the weeks post the September 11th Attacks.

The site has some great photos of the firehouse that members operated at prior to their murders. I suggest that you surf on over to http://www.eyemaze.net/FD/pg/FD.htm surf each of the boroughs and look at the various pictures of those stations that were directly affected by the Murders of these Members!
