Paramedic/Intermediate/Basic: Knox County Hospital District EMS is accepting applications for FT and PT Paramedic, Intermediate, and Basic positions.

KCHEMS provides 911 service and MICU level transports for Knox County averaging 650 calls annually with two primary BLS/MICU units staffed 24/7 and one BLS call-in unit.

Primary units are 2003/2004 Ford E-450 Marque Commandos with Zoll E-Series heart monitors. We operate closely with KCH nursing and 3 Air Medical companies servicing our area. Paramedics must maintain ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS certifications. Relocation not required and sleeping quarters are available at EMS stations.
